Covert Personal Safety App — Android

Data We Collect

Account Registration:

  • Full name — displayed in your profile and included in SOS notifications.
  • Email address — for account creation, login, subscription management, and transactional emails.
  • Phone number — the primary recipient for SOS SMS alerts sent via service provider.

Emergency Contacts:

  • Names, phone numbers, and (optionally) email addresses of your designated emergency contacts. You are responsible for obtaining consent from those individuals before entering their details.

Location Data:

  • Your GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) are captured and transmitted only when you intentionally trigger an SOS alert (5-second volume-button hold).
  • Location is sent to your emergency contacts via SMS. It is not stored long-term — it exists only in transit and in server execution logs (retained 90 days for debugging, then automatically deleted).
  • findME does not continuously track or background-log your location.

Subscription & Billing:

  • Google Play processes all payments. We never receive your card number or banking details.
  • We store a Google Play purchase token and your subscription status (plan type, expiry date) in the Database to gate premium features.

Device & Usage Data:

  • Our servers may collect anonymous crash reports, device model, OS version, and session events to improve app stability. No personally identifiable information is included.

Referral Codes:

  • If you share or redeem a referral code, we store the association between referrer and referred user to process billing rewards. No sensitive personal data beyond email and subscription token is involved.

Why We Use This Data

  • Deliver SOS alerts to your emergency contacts.
  • Authenticate you and maintain your profile and preferences.
  • Verify purchases and apply referral rewards.
  • Send transactional emails (invite, reward, account deletion confirmation).
  • Send a weekly safety tips newsletter (you may opt out at any time).
  • Analyse anonymous crash data to fix bugs and improve performance.

Device Permissions

  • Precise Location — captured only during an SOS trigger event.
  • Accessibility Service — detects the volume-button trigger sequence while the screen is off.
  • Foreground Service — maintains the 3-round, 5-minute alert sequence without being interrupted by battery management.

Data Retention (findME)

  • Account data in the database: retained while your account is active + 30 days after deletion.
  • Location data in server logs: deleted after 90 days.
  • Email delivery logs: retained up to 30 days.
  • Encrypted database backups: retained 30 days.

Legal Basis for Processing (findME)

  • Contract performance — processing your name, email, and phone number is necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
  • Consent — location data is processed only when you consciously trigger an SOS; emergency contacts are entered at your discretion.
  • Legitimate interest — anonymous analytics and crash reporting to maintain a reliable safety service.
  • Legal obligation — transaction records retained as required by South African consumer-protection and tax regulations.

Security (findME)

  • The database is secured with granular rules restricting access to authenticated users and our service accounts.
  • Our servers require a shared-secret header to prevent unauthorised invocation, and we apply least-privilege IAM roles on Google Cloud Platform.
  • No plaintext passwords are stored.

Account & Data Deletion (findME)

You can delete your findME account and all associated data in two ways:

  • In the app: Dashboard → More Details → Deregister Account.
  • By email: send a deletion request to support@findmeapp.co.za from the email address registered to your account.

Once your request is received, your account and associated personal data (profile, emergency contacts, and settings) are deleted from our active database within 30 days. Server execution logs are automatically purged within 90 days. A minimal audit record of the deletion request itself (containing no location data) is retained for up to 2 years for compliance purposes.

Line Connector

Product 2

Minimalist Puzzle Game — Android

Line Connector is a casual puzzle game. Playing it is anonymous — we never ask for your name, phone number, or GPS location. Two optional features do use our own servers: the daily leaderboard and signing in with Google to carry your progress between devices. If you use neither, the game keeps everything on your device.

Data We Collect

On-Device Game Data:

  • Your progress, stars, streaks, unlocked themes, and settings are stored locally on your device. Unless you sign in for cloud save (below), this never leaves your device. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling removes it.

Account & Sign-In (optional):

  • So the game can talk to our leaderboard, it creates an anonymous account through Firebase Authentication — a random identifier tied to the install, containing no personal details.
  • You may optionally sign in with Google to sync progress across devices. We then receive, from Firebase Authentication, your Google account's user ID and email address. We use these only to recognise your save; your email is never shown to other players and never used for marketing.
  • Signing in is entirely optional — the game is fully playable without it.

Daily Leaderboard (optional):

  • When you submit a daily-challenge time, we store your account identifier, your solve time, the nickname you chose, a two-letter country code, and the time of submission.
  • The country code is derived from your device's language/region setting — not from GPS, and we do not track your location.
  • Your nickname, country, and time are shown publicly to other players on that day's board. Please pick a nickname you are comfortable being seen — avoid your full name or anything that identifies you.
  • You are never required to submit a score; you can play the daily puzzle without appearing on the board.

Cloud Save (optional, requires sign-in):

  • When signed in, your progress and settings are also stored on our server so a new device can restore them. We merge the two copies and keep the better result for each level.

Where this is hosted:

  • Leaderboard and cloud-save data are held on Google Firebase (Realtime Database and Cloud Functions) in Google's europe-west1 region, in the European Union. Google processes it as our service provider under Firebase's privacy terms.

Anti-cheat (Google Play Integrity / Firebase App Check):

  • To stop fake times being posted by scripts, the app asks Google Play Integrity to confirm that the request comes from a genuine, unmodified install from Google Play. Google assesses device and app integrity signals and returns a short-lived token. We receive only the verdict — no personal information — and reject submissions that fail.

Advertising (Google AdMob):

  • We use Google AdMob to show ads. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address, coarse location (derived from IP), and ad-interaction data.
  • Ads are personalised only with your consent where required (EEA, UK). Otherwise, or if you decline, you receive non-personalised ads.
  • This data is processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. You can reset or limit ad tracking in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing & RevenueCat):

  • Optional one-time purchases (Free Hints & No Ads, premium themes) are processed by Google Play. We never receive your card or banking details.
  • We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and restore them when you reinstall. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous app user ID, the Google Play purchase token, and basic device/store information. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
  • Your entitlement is also cached on your device so purchases work offline.

Why We Use This Data

  • Show and measure ads that keep the game free to play (via AdMob).
  • Process and restore in-app purchases (via Google Play and RevenueCat).
  • Save your game progress and preferences on your device.
  • Rank daily times and display the public leaderboard, if you choose to submit a score.
  • Sync your progress between your devices, if you choose to sign in.
  • Keep the leaderboard honest by rejecting submissions from tampered or automated clients.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not combine it with data from our other products — a Line Connector account is entirely separate from a findME account.

Advertising Consent & Choices

  • On first launch in the EEA/UK, a consent prompt lets you choose personalised or non-personalised ads; you can change this later from the app's privacy option.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising via your device's advertising settings at any time.
  • Because AdMob is a Google service, your ad-related data may be processed on servers outside South Africa, protected under Google's safeguards and privacy commitments.

Device Permissions

  • Internet — required to load ads, process purchases, and (optionally) submit leaderboard times and sync your progress. The puzzles themselves work offline.
  • Advertising ID — used by AdMob to serve and measure ads (you can reset it in device settings).
  • Vibration — optional haptic feedback during play (can be turned off in Settings).

Line Connector requests no location, camera, microphone, contacts, or personal-file permissions.

Children

Line Connector is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. Because it shows third-party ads and has a public leaderboard, we do not knowingly enable the collection of data from children under 13. See our general Children's Privacy section below.

Data Retention (Line Connector)

  • On-device data (progress, settings, purchase entitlement): kept on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall.
  • Leaderboard entries: each day's board is automatically deleted after 30 days by a scheduled cleanup job.
  • Account record (identifier, nickname, country, cloud save): kept for as long as your account exists, and deleted when you ask us to (see below).
  • Ad & purchase data: retained by Google (AdMob / Google Play) and RevenueCat under their own policies.

Data Deletion Requests (Line Connector)

To have data associated with you deleted, you can:

  • On-device data — uninstall the app, or clear its data (Android Settings → Apps → Line Connector → Storage → Clear data). This erases all progress, settings, and stored purchase state from your device.
  • Leaderboard entries and cloud save — email tech-support@radikalsolutions.co.za with your nickname (and, if you signed in, the Google address you used). We will delete your account record, cloud save, and any leaderboard entries. If you never submit another score, your existing entries also disappear on their own within 30 days.
  • Advertising data — reset or delete your Advertising ID (Android Settings → Privacy → Ads), which stops AdMob associating ad data with you.
  • Purchase records — email us from the Google account used for the purchase, and we will delete the associated record held by our payments processor (RevenueCat). Note that Google Play keeps its own transaction records under its policies.

For any deletion request, contact tech-support@radikalsolutions.co.za and we will action it within 30 days.

Daily Puzzle app icon

Daily Puzzle

Product 3

Daily Number & Word Puzzle — Android

Daily Puzzle is a casual daily puzzle game. Playing it is anonymous — we never ask for your name, email, phone number, or GPS location, and there is no sign-in and no account. Everything you do in the game stays on your device. The only data that leaves it is what Google’s advertising service and our payment processor need in order to show ads and to process a purchase.

Data We Collect

On-Device Game Data:

  • Your daily results, stars, streak, statistics, streak freezes, and whether you have purchased “Remove Ads” are stored locally on your device (in the app’s own storage). This never leaves your device, and we cannot see it. Clearing the app’s data or uninstalling removes it permanently — we hold no copy and cannot restore it.
  • The puzzles themselves ship inside the app. Playing does not require an internet connection, and the game does not contact our servers to fetch or submit a puzzle result.

Advertising (Google AdMob):

  • The free version shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve, cap, and measure them, AdMob receives your device’s advertising ID together with technical device and approximate-region information. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in your Android settings at any time.
  • We do not give AdMob any of your game data, and we never see who you are.
  • Buying Remove Ads stops banner and interstitial ads. Optional rewarded ads — the ones you choose to watch in exchange for an extra letter or a streak freeze — remain available if you want them.

Purchases (Google Play & RevenueCat):

  • In-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We never see or handle your card details.
  • We use RevenueCat to check whether a purchase is valid and to restore it if you reinstall. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous app user ID for the install plus the purchase receipt. That identifier is not linked to your name, email, or Google account.

Advertising Consent & Choices

Where consent for personalised advertising is required — the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland — Google’s consent flow is shown before personalised ads are served, and you can change or withdraw that choice later from within the game. Declining does not stop you playing; you simply see non-personalised ads instead.

Device Permissions

Daily Puzzle requests no runtime permissions. It does not ask for location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, or access to your files. It needs network access only to load ads and to verify a purchase.

Children

Daily Puzzle is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. Because it shows third-party ads, we do not knowingly enable the collection of data from children under 13. See our general Children’s Privacy section below.

Data Retention (Daily Puzzle)

  • On-device data (results, streak, statistics, purchase entitlement): kept on your device until you clear the app’s data or uninstall it.
  • Purchase records: retained by Google Play and by RevenueCat for as long as needed to honour and restore your purchase, and to meet tax and accounting obligations.
  • Advertising data: retained by Google under Google’s own advertising policies, not ours.

Data Deletion Requests (Daily Puzzle)

Because the game stores your progress only on your device and holds no account, there is nothing on our servers to delete — uninstalling the app removes your data. To reset advertising data, reset your advertising ID in Android settings. For anything else, contact us at tech-support@radikalsolutions.co.za and we will respond within 30 days.
